Job Description
  • Further development and operations of our state-of-the-art Kubernetes Platform as a member of a highly motivated team
  • Active involvement in expansion of the platform features based on product targets
  • Cooperation with related product teams in a dynamic DevOps environment
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of issues
  • Proactive teamwork
Qualifications
  • Excellent knowhow in Linux with experience ideally as a SysAdmin
  • Excellent understanding of computer networking
  • Knowledge and prior experience in virtualization and containerization
  • Knowledge and solid understanding of cloud computing concepts in public, private and hybrid environments
  • Special interest in cloud native and opensource technologies
  • Awareness of and hands-on experience in hardening and security practices
  • Familiarity with any of major public cloud providers and their services
  • Hands on experience with automation, configuration management and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Knowhow in administering and advanced usage of Kubernetes
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure technologies and products such as OpenStack is advantageous
  • Knowhow in multiple of the following topics:
    • Gitops and CI/CD tools
    • Agile development
    • Logging and Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, fluentd, etc.
    • Software-Defined Networking
    • Software-Defined Storage
    • Enterprise storage systems
    • Backup/restore and recovery procedures in production environment
    • Lifecycle management, updates, upgrades
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java or Go is a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Fluency in English
